hi there! newbie po ako dito sa TF, ask ko lang advice nyo regarding my future job in japan. i applied online to a language school in fukushima. the director of the school contacted me and sent me the contract eventually. currently, visa processing na po kami and we both expect that by mid march go na po ako jan. pano ko kaya maccgurado na hindi ako mapapahamak? di ko kasi ma-i-check sa poea kasi school talaga yung contact ko...di ko po alam kung gaano ka-safe yung online application. mukang professional at mabait naman yung employe, we spoke over the phone, nag-worry lang family ko kasi marami raw pong exploited pinoy nurses na ibinebenta as domestic helpers, etc..(sa europe naman yun, employers cover themselves as hospitals directors, sagot pa pamasahe!) sorry for my silly question, i just wanna know... just to be on the safe side...first time po kasi!:p

thanks!

Hi luckyme!

Naalala ko ang sitwasyon ko sa yo when i read your post. Gnyan kasi ang ginawa ko when I came here as a tourist 2 years ago. Ang kaibahan lang, marami akong schools na inapplyan online kaya daming choices.

Advice ko sa yo ay eto, everything in this world involves risks. Naiintindihan ko, nakakatakot talaga but the good news is, it's safer ( I think) in Japan compared to other countries at napaka polite ng mga tao dito. Kasalanan mo na,mag so sorry pa sa yo.

GAnto na lang gawin mo, apply ka sa maraming schools (say 3 or 4) para meron kang contingency plans if ever the first one didnt turn out well. Biruin mo ng dumating ako dito una muna sa Tokyo and when my application was rejected napadpad ako dito sa Shikoku na napakalayo pala which I didnt know. So if I were you, mag research kang mabuti from the first step down to the last at kung gaano kalayo sila sa isat isa.

Also, it would be better if you learn some basicNihonngo words, I mean, thats good enough for travelling. Di ko rin kasi ginawa yan,as in almost nil ang Nihonggo ko (ngayon 2 na out of 10, hehehe).

Good luck sa yo ha. Sana maging lucky ka luckyme, hehehe. :p

Kung may maitutulong ako, just send me a private message. And welcome nga pala. Enjoy posting! :)
