The Makati Business Club (MBC) disclosed on Thursday that the top five senatorial candidates that they want to see elected on the May 14 balloting.
MBC conducted a survey that indicated businessmen are largely bullish on the economy and the top names they want to win are Manuel Villar, Francis Pangilinan, Francis Escudero, Joker Arroyo and Ralph Recto.
The group also wants to see Congress pass the bills on the national budget, anti-terrorism, investment incentives, renewable energy and anti-political dynasty.
The survey was done among MBC members last January 22-February 15. The survey involved 62 respondents or 9.4% of the group’s membership.
