FDA adds 'abnormal behavior' precaution to Tamiflu label (http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2006-11-13-tamiflu_x.htm)
The FDA updated the label after receiving the 103 reports of abnormal behavior, most of which involved children in Japan. Japan uses more Tamiflu than any other country in the world, with more than 30 million prescriptions since 2001. It's been prescribed about 8 million times in the U.S. since 1999.
Ayon sa website ng Tamiflu (Side Effects and Safety of Tamiflu (http://www.tamiflu.com/sideeffects.aspx)), kailangan daw pong bantayan ang mga batang umiinom ng Tamiflu, at baka kung ano ang gawin.
Some incidences of self-injury and delirium with the use of TAMIFLU in patients with the flu have been reported (mostly from Japan). The reports were primarily among children. The relationship of these reported events to TAMIFLU is not known. Pediatric patients with the flu should be closely monitored for signs of abnormal behavior throughout the treatment period. Most of all, sana huwag tayong magkasakit. :)
