This site was referred to me by my friend a few hours ago and I just wanna say that I find this a really good site :D

Anyway before I ask questions, I'd like to give you a background.

I'm studying nihongo and I really want to learn...what better way than to go to japan right? We have a friend in japan and he says that I go stay with his family so I can learn and improve my nihongo. I've stayed with his family before for 3weeks only (I had a toursit visa back then and I was given a 90-day duration). So I applied for the same visa (tourist) planning that I stay with his family again. But this time, I was only given 15 days :(. Everyone knows that 15 days is useless if I wanna learn and improve my nihongo. I just wanna go there to work on my language thru living the daily life and interacting with our friends and different people in japan.

So here are my questions:
1. Can I extend my 15-day tourist visa to a 3month or more visa?
2. Who do I talk to? Where do I go?

I just need someone to point me to the right direction here...yaw ko naman mag-TNT

:) hello welcome sa timog, try ko lang sagutin yun mga tanong mo ha, pag andito ka na ulit try mo nalang humingi ng extension sa immigration.. may iba na nabibigyan ng extension pero may iba na hindi... spouse visa naman dito ka mag pakasal and dito mo na din wait ang visa mo as a spouse visa... sa student visa kasi ang alam ko may certain school na nagbibigay ng student visa di ko lang alam kung ano ang mga requirements nila...working visa naman may mga company na nag bibigay ng 3years working visa, pero di ko alam kung tatanggapin ka kasi tourist nga ang visa mo....pero wait ka pa rin sa sagot ng iba natin kababayan...goodluck sayo ianix san:)

WELCOME po sA TF.. kung nabigyan po kayo dyan ng 15days visa pagdating nyo po dito sa japan mag apply agad kayo sa Immigration na malapit sa inyo at pinaka matagal na po ang 90days na extension,yun po eh kung ok sa kanila yung rason nyo ..ganbatte kudasai:)
