japantoday A Japanese-funded masters program on international peace studies will kick off this month at a Philippine university to prepare Asians "to contribute to the work of building international peace," Nippon Foundation Chairman Yohei Sasakawa said Tuesday. "We want to provide a place where individuals can nurture the necessary knowledge, skill and networks for working effectively in making and sustaining peace in Asia," Sasakawa told a press briefing.
