Nothing to do on May 3-4? Let's join the International Friendship Fair!:)
The Saitama City and Saitama City Association for Global Awareness (SAGA) jointly organized the International Friendship Fair 2007
Date: Thursday, May 3 and Friday, May 4 from 9 AM to 4 PM
Location: Shimin-no-mori, Minuma 2 cho-me, Kita-Ku, Saitama-Ken
Access: 7-minute walk from the East exit of Toro Station, Utsunomiya Line
Event: Tents will be put up and participants from various countries will introduce their cultures through displays and by selling regional cuisines and folk crafts. Stage performances include traditional music and dances from different parts of the world.
WANTED!!!
Participants to present the activities of their organization or their country's culture and traditions, group display and sell regional cuisines and folk crafts. In addition, applications for stage performances would be greatly appreciated.
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
1. Fashion Show--National costumes (The organizing committee is still looking for 15 countries to be represented.)
Showtime: 10:30 AM on May 4
2. Singing Contest--10 contestants needed
Showtime: 12:30 NN on May 4
