yomiuri National achievement tests in math and Japanese for all primary school sixth-graders and all middle school third-year students--about 2.3 million children--were simultaneously conducted Tuesday at 33,000 schools. It is the first time all students in a particular grade have taken the same tests nationwide since 1964. The participation rate was 98.95 percent. Read more...
