:) Invitation to Join: "Distansya," AFSJ's First One-day Exhibit
All former and current (Filipino) students are invited to join the AFSJ's First One-day photography exhibit to be held on the General Assembly, May 26, 2007. "Distansya" will be an exposition of the interpretations of each photographer's varied experiences in coping with mobility, proximity and distance. Jong Pairez, an independent artist from UP Fine Arts, Dada Docot, writer-photographer of UP's Philippine Collegian, and Bernadette Bravo, UP Film alumni and director of short film "Desaseado," will be the curators of the said exhibit.
Each participant may submit only TWO (2) 8 x 10 print (black and white or color, matte or glossy, no borders). Photographs may be enhanced or may include other media (i.e., paint), as long as the prints remain two-dimensional. The minimum resolution of the photographs is 1600 x 2000. Digitally- or manually-printed photographs are accepted. Photo submissions may be mailed on or before May 20, 2007 to:

The following information should be mailed with the print/s: Name; School/ Major (if now working, current affiliation); Photograph Title; Date/ year taken; Artist Statement (if any); Price (if for sale, detailed information on pricing will be emailed to participating photographers).
