Visa Application through Accredited Agencies


Effective 30 th of July, 2007, the Consulate-General of Japan at Manila , as well as the Consular offices in Cebu and Davao respectively, will introduce new procedure for visa application.

Your cooperation and understanding is highly appreciated.

As the result of an overall review of visa application procedures, it is decided that all visa applications except cases indicated in 3 below must be made at the Consulate-General of Japan at Manila through the agencies accredited by the Consulate-General, effective 30 th July, 2007.

From the date onward, the Consulate-General of Japan at Manila as well as the consular offices in Cebu and Davao , will no longer accept direct visa applications by applicants, except cases indicated in 3 below.

(Under the new procedure, there may be cases where applicants be requested to appear in person for an interview to the designated consulate or consular offices.)
Please refer to the attached List of Agencies Accredited by the Consulate-General of Japan at Manila as of May, 2007.

Handling fee will be collected by the agents in accordance with the fee fixed by each agent.
In spite of the introduction of the new procedure for visa application mentioned above, direct applications may be accepted at the Consulate-General at Manila, consular offices in Cebu and Davao for the following cases(For cases requiring humanitarian consideration, applicants are advised to have prior consultation with the Consulate or the consular offices in advance) :• Diplomatic or Official visas
• Visas for invitees by the Japanese government organization/ institution, independent administrative agencies of Japan (such as JICA and JBIC etc.)
• Visas for scholarship awardees sponsored by the government of Japan

papano na lang kaya ang tga probinsya na mag aaply ng visa,dobleng gastos na naman to pero shoganai...

my opinion ay good and bad news sa mga applikante.

good
1. magiging convenient sa mga applikante dahil di na sila pipila ng mahaba sa iilang locations (japan embassy at consulate offices) sa pag aapply.mas marami silang choices kung saan mag aapply.
2. mas accesible sa aplikante ang agency compare sa embassy sa verification at checking ng application.




bad

1. tataas ang bayad dahil sa handling fee.
2.exposure sa mga fixers,deceitful and fraudulent persons ang mga applikante.
3. though controlled siguro ang amount ng handling fee,probability na mag take advantage ang mga agents sa mga aplikante like sa kanila dapat magpa picture,magpa photo copy,etc na may kamahalan compare sa iba.

i saw the listed accredited agencies. mukhang wala sa davao ah. naku agahan ko na mag invite pala para hindi umabot ng july 30.
