Japanese man strangles wife who snooped on mobile

TOKYO -- A Japanese man strangled his newlywed wife after she snooped on his mobile phone and discovered a pornographic image, police and news reports said Monday. Hitoshi Kawakami strangled his wife Kazuko on Sunday night at their apartment in a Tokyo suburb, said a police spokeswoman, without elaborating.

She died in hospital early Monday and the police are preparing to charge the man with murder, Jiji Press and other news reports said. The 28-year-old victim was playing with her husband's mobile phone while he was taking shower and found a pornographic image, which he received from a friend, press reports said.

The couple, who registered their marriage in February, fought over the image, and the husband strangled his wife.

Every crime has to be psychological. Something is telling that person to commit that crime and it's just not normal...killing someone just because they argued with you is usually an inappropriate emotional response to a situation ,it's a sign that there is a disorder or illness going on... poor wife I hope she rest in peace. :(

What's happening to these japanese - they get so "emotional" than being "rational". we hear and read sa news about paternity killings , wife kills husband & vice-versa , son-in-law kills parents-in-law etc. - wala kasing takot sa Diyos - yan ang mahirap in a country na fast-paced ang development - laging naka-sentro sa sarili at being materialistic - no spiritual development.

What's happening to these japanese - they get so "emotional" than being "rational". we hear and read sa news about paternity killings , wife kills husband & vice-versa , son-in-law kills parents-in-law etc. - wala kasing takot sa Diyos - yan ang mahirap in a country na fast-paced ang development - laging naka-sentro sa sarili at being materialistic - no spiritual development.
I am a buddhist convert. You must have overlooked the fact that the crime rate of our country is much higher than that of Japan.
