inquirer Filipino computer forensic analyst Alex Ramos has won a prestigious cybersecurity award in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ramos assisted in one of the longest hacking investigations conducted by Philippine authorities, which also led to the breaking of the backbone of an international hacking syndicate operating in the Philippines. Guidance Software Inc., a global firm involved in digital investigations, said Ramos was chosen as this year's winner of the 2007 Timothy Fidel Memorial Award. Read more...
