magandang umaga po mga ka-tf! tanong ko lang po kung gaano katagal mag-renew ng passport dito sa philippine embassy sa tokyo? pwede po bang hintayin yun habang pina-process or kailan pang balikan? marami pong salamat sa mga magbibigay ng sagot :)

kelangan nio pong balikan, 3 days ang releasing :) pede rin nyo pong pa mail sa inyo

Renewal of Old Passport

1. Duly accomplished passport application form available at the Consular Information Counter, or downloadable from the official Embassy website at http://www.tokyope.org.

2. Three (3) passport-size photos;

3. Old passport - to be presented for cancellation but will be returned to applicant;

4. Copy of the following pages of old passport:
a. data page (1st page)
b. visa page (with latest visa)
c. page bearing the signature of the signing officer (last page)
*If old passport is a brown passport, submission of an authenticated Birth Certificate from the National Statistics Office (NSO) is required.

Renewal Fee: ¥10,500

In addition sa ibinigay ni Aviation Lady, yung picture ay kailangang naka focus yung mukha at mas maige ang magsuot ng may collar polos or shirts. kasi pag malabo ang pics at iba ang size ibabalik ng Embassy at pag ikaw ang pumunta sa embassy sabihin sa yo doon na lang magpakuha at singilin ka ng mahal... Kailangan din na ang application form for renewal ay hinde xerox copy dahil hinde nila tatanggapin. Yung downloaded ok lang at kailangan nga masulatan mo legibly at walang erasures. ok?

Mahal naman pala renewal fee....hehehe...kala ko 3000 yen lang hikhikhikhik...

galing ako kanina sa tokyo phil.embassy...akala ko masusungit ang mga staff, hindi naman pala...mababait naman sila...pagtinanong mo sumasagot naman sila ng maayos..

Mga kapamilya ..mga kapuso..magtatanong lang po...baka meron nang nawalan ng passport sa inyo ....dito sa japan.....ano po ba ang mga kailangan para kumuha uli ng bago and magkano kaya..........:confu sed:

Parang ang tagal yata ng releasing pag nagrenew ng passport,akala ko 3 days lang,
bakit sabi sa akin 2 to 3 weeks? ganun na ba katagal?:confused:

sa akin inabot ng 3 weeks sa osaka ako nagrenew by mail.

unfortunately matagal po talaga ang pag-renew ng ating mga passport sa kadahilanan na ang pag gawa po ng ating mga passport are still done manually kaya po ganon, i experienced the same thing dahil kakatapos ko lang po mag renew ng aking passport at inabot din po ng 3 linggo. hopefully maybe early next year eh magsisimula na po after years of hassels and deliberation, ang introduction ng machine readable passport. most probably renewing our passport for 2 to 3 weeks will be a thing of the past. . i hope

Mas mabilis ang renewal ng passport sa Pinas.. merong courier (hindi fixer) na gumagawa nito.. in few days (matagal na yung 3 days). Just call them (ABOITIZ TRANSPORT SYSTEM http://www.atsc.com.ph/busineserv/cargo.asp) at pick-up nila agad ang old passport mo at fill-up mo ang application with your pictures and payment. Tapos after 3-5 days ay delivered na rin nila ang bagong passport mo. Hindi mo na kailangang pumunta sa DFA, pumila at mainis. Magbayad ka lang ng service.. pero kung type mong mainis talaga, puntahan mo at pagkatapos ng processing (baka one whole day ka) ay meron doong service na dadalhin sa bahay mo ang new passport mo!

Parang ang tagal yata ng releasing pag nagrenew ng passport,akala ko 3 days lang,
bakit sabi sa akin 2 to 3 weeks? ganun na ba katagal?:confused:


yan yata ay pag lost passport matagal talaga yon at magastos pa ! kasi me mga police report pa saka mas mahal ang fee nun pero renewal 3 working days lang talaga except siguro kung by mail siyempre medyo matagal yon

Nagrenew din ako ng passport last of May 28....by mail kaya inabot ng 10days....last week of june 7 dumating dito sa bahay...

All documentary requirements must be complete upon submission of application. Applicant should enclose a self-addressed, appropriately-sized, stamped envelope. Payment for the services must be transmitted via Genkin Kakitome with the Post Office.


Renewal of Old Passport Requirements

ako naman po nagrenew ng passport last year by mail sa osaka, mabait naman sila kasi wala pang one week ok na yung passport ko.. pero yung sa iba daw inaabot ng 2 weeks tapos ang hirap pa magfollow up sa kanila.. may case nga na ung kasama ko sa work nde na nakatiis pumunta na sa osaka para i-follow up dahil kelangan na kelangan na nila ang mga passport nila.

basta po kumpleto ang requirements madali na po ang pagrerenew :D

thanks po, ang galing mo talaga:D nakakatamad kasi pumunta ng tokyo malayo kasi,ok itong service nila lalo na sa mga busy people...hehe..

Kaninong address ba within the Tokyo Embassy ipadala ang genkikakitome for renewal of passports? Wala bang account sila ,postal address lang ang kailangan?

The Embassy is located at postal address 5-15-5 Roppongi Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-8537.

..They have No Account...payment via Genkin Kakitome with the Post Office...

Nakuha ko na new passport ko 1 week lang ako naghintay:D .Nagsearch kasi ako dito sa TF tapos nagsearch din sa internet http://www.post.japanpost.j p/english/index.html para malaman ko kung gaano aabutin.Tulad ng advice ng iba tama lahat sila ang di ko lang sinunod ay yung betsu ang passport at pera.Kasi iisang lugar lang naman ang pagdadalhan kaya nagtaka ako.Ngaun nagtanong kami ng hubby ko sa post office dito sa MIE abay pede naman pala pagsamahin sa GENKIN KAKITOME lahat ng kailangang sa pagrerenew ng passport kasi bago matanggap sa Osaka kailangan ng pirma kaya safe naman ito sabi yan sa post office:).Sinubukan ko muna para masabi ko sa inyo sobrang magastos kasi kung bestu pa yung pera at passport itatanong naman sayo kung may laman bang pera ang genkin kakitome o ano ano ang laman.
