inquirer President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is confident that the controversial economic agreement the Philippines had signed with Japan would pass the scrutiny of the Senate even as she acknowledged that there would be debates on the deal, her spokesman Ignacio Bunye said. Groups opposed to the agreement wanted scrapped a provision that they alleged would allow Japan to dump its wastes on Philippine soil. In return, Japan will open its market to Philippine nurses. Sana sabay sa pag-iisip ng pro-trade pact na to kung anong benefits nito sa economy ng Pinas alamin din nila kung ano naman ang problemang kakaharapin ng bansa sa darating na panahon at kaya ba nila tong solusyunan. Pwede rin kasi madaliin ng Arroyo government na maaprobahan ang agreement na yan dahil macredit sa kanila ang economic progress na maramdaman ng bansa pero ang problemang darating pakialaman pa ba nila?

Aside from that Philippine nurse for Japan toxic waste what else is involved in this pact? Kasi according sa news report sa link (inquirer.net) parang masyadong one-sided tong deal.
