PhilFest 2007 in Hibiya

hello, TF people.

I just noticed that there hasn't been a post about the upcoming PhilFest next weekend.

I'm not involved at all in the organization of this event but I'm sure you all agree this is one activity we the Filipino community especially in Tokyo can support through our attendance and participation.

it will be hopefully also one way to introduce our culture to your Japanese and even other foreign friends.

I honestly haven't joined any all-Filipino events here in Japan and I am thinking of going to this PhilFest. I would be curious to see how this turns out (I've read all sorts of negative write-ups about a number of past events but this time, since I have some non-Japanese friends who would like to experience a Filipino-style gathering, I thought the Festival might be a chance);)

I'm a newbie to Tokyo so this should be a good way to meet you all. Are you thinking of meeting beforehand so we can go to the Philfest together? I'd be happy to help organize if someone picks a place to meet since i just got here :p Sunday might work better for me. Thanks for posting Hanikami.

the site had "Hibiya Park" the first time I checked.
(nagbago ba ang plano o di lang napalitan ang lumang impormasyon?;))
