:confused: Konnichiwa minna-san;

I have a Japanese friend whom is suffering now from throat cancer, and I really want to visit her and alagaan siya doon kasi alam kung she is mostly staying alone in the hospital..... and she also want me to go there, actually kahit naman noon ay gusto na niya akong pumunta sa Japan......but can a 24 yrs. old Japanese lady can sign a guarantor letter beside the fact that she is now staying in the hospital, hindi rin niya...maasikaso yun mga kailangan ko.....na requirements..... I suggest nga na...kung pwedeng yun father na lng niya ang mag-asikaso at mag-sign sa invitational and guarantor letter.............. ... so paano po ba ito???? I dont know...kung gaano kalala ang sakit niya...... she was not allowed to use her mobile phone..... kinausap na nga lang niya yun katrabaho niya na e-e-mail ako, informing her situation???? pag-ganun ba yun state..... malala ba yun????? i really wannna go there and be there at her side..... mas ngayon niya kasi kailangan ng kasama.....at mas lalong niya kailangan ang isang kaibigan.
so please.... i need some answers.....domo arigatou gozaimasu!

Oo puwedeng puwede.

Even if she(this sick person) is not working, if she has enough money and can prove it by attaching a copy of banck notebook (tsucho), then it is OK.

Humanitarian reason is the only reason that tourist visa can be extended. and this person with cancer is good enough, I think.
Of course she may be required to submit the certificate of her disease.

Copy of photograph of you and her together shall be required, too.

thanks po...sa advice..... pero kuya/ate.... how can she get a bank certificate if she's staying in the hospital? and we dont have a picture together though I have many pictures of her...most purikura and yun iba ay pinadala niya sa e-mail ko.... pinadevelop ko sa cafe.
saka.... pina-print ko yun invitation and guarantee letter (both in Jap and Eng.
Kuya/ate..... mag-gaano ba pamasahe papunta sa Tokyo from Manila.... ect ????
Maraming salamat po sa reply.....May GOD bless you...and keep you safe from harm!

As for the picture together, it may not be required for a case like you.

Even if it was required, it is just one of the ways to prove that you are an OK person.
There can be other ways.
The important thing is to make the officer think you are not a bad person.

I know a person who had no picture together, but convinced the officer by presenting several pictures and letters, explaining that the place is the same, date/time is the same, that they were together on that day at the place with other people who happened to be in the pictures.

Also, you may be able to take the picture together to apply for extension after coming to Japan.

As for the certificate of accounts, someone can get it on her behalf, if proper documents are presented to the bank.

Or she may be able to get permission to go to the bank herself, together with a nurse or helper.
Wheelchairs can be borrowed.

Copy of tsucho may be easier to get, for large hospitals usually have ATM machines inside.

Goodluck.

sa palagay ko lang po

maganda sana kung may guarantee letter din from her father

depende kung peak or off peak season ka pupunta dito
during off peak season....more or less 25 thou???? im not sure
needless to say kailangan po talaga ang maraming salapi:D

by the way

goodluck!
