1) Play Golf... hindi ako nag go-golf pero I ride motorcycles (and make them fly :D) tapos wan-to-sawa na kwentuhan para di ako nakakalimutan.
2) Choose who you play golf with  ... (not worth playing golf and spending time with suckers anyway..)
3) I scratch their backs and they scratch mine :D ...
4) EVERYBODY gets a piece of the pie!
5) The customer is NOT always right... I'll kick his sorry butt out if I sense that the customer is just a sorry loser/ window shopper.
6) I never exchange/give trade secrets to "non players or beginners"... often just a waste of time.
7) Rule of the thumb... "Show me the dough"... No money no honey :D
8) Advertising is good but I prefer "word of mouth" because its a lot stronger. Sometimes if I don't know much about the new customer, I keep my distance or just tell them to take a hike. These makes life easier for me and to keep away from stupid claims, returns, refunds, repairs and all those crap. I had my share of headaches... Always NO CLAIM, NO RETURN or they can shove it somewhere where they like to shove it :biglaugh:(I know my goods are good !!! :D)
9) Buy less... Sell MORE :bite: :D
10) One good customer is better than 100 lousy customers... No to strangers and hitch hikers and a big "NO" to con artists and cheapsters!
11) Good and honest biz is the only way ...
12) a little push-ups and sit-ups everyday keeps the lard away... Some cute customers seems to notice "other stuffs" besides the cars and bikes... :biglaugh:My place is so cheap and crappy but still I get "nice" visitors from time to time :D
13) SMILE... Shigoto no kihonn

Some crappy rules that I follow... I don't know if these are worth following but these were handed down to me by my seniors who are in the same biz.

....spoken like a true-blue street-smart businessman :D

it's true, better to take care of old customers, than look for new ones. mas magastos. in some cases, you need to "wine and dine" 'em first before they open up their purses...:D

@sir sarpo - on my side naman po kasi ang proper handling ng business is the right knowledge lang po sa business. marami na ako naitayo na business but ndi po ako ganun ka knowledgeable kaya nalugi. pero ung mga na share nyo i really dont agree with it. tatakbo ka ng public official because of those thinking na makakuha ka ng pera to pay other corrupt officials? well, talagang ndi po talaga lalago ang pilipinas nyan sa ganun attitude sir:). ask your self sir,, bkit kayo nasa japan? bakit ka umalis ng pilipinas? kasi gus2 mo kumita ng mas malaking pera db?- of course sino bang ayaw ng pera, its a necessity sir. pero kung ang magiging mind set is to go for those things na sinabi nyo, it will not help the philippines to grow but you're encouraging people to think wasted things that you're sharing with, public servant sir, kahit wala ka man swelduhin dapat you're on it. you're trying to destroy the best interest of filipino people sir. i know, one day you'll be coming home soon sir, and you will be sorry for those words you're spreading in this thread because of being greedy and selfish. you loose hope kaya nawala ka sa pilipinas and trying to look for a green pasture sa japan db? kasi ano? ndi po ba kayo nanalo sa election?, hindi kasi tama ung pag share mo ng business, its not a business at all, you're demoralizing the country sir.though realty check, meron tlagang mga bagay na nangyayari na ganun, pero kung ganun nalang tingin mo business na gusto mo well be it, try it by yourself. you might be the next most corrupt person in the philippines. sorry pero its not a good business to tell to the TF people. its not good at all. im very sorry sir sarpon but sharing this thing is not a good.
