nung nasa loob kami ng meiji jingu shrine, medyo madilim dahil sa kapal ng mga puno, pero ang gandang tingnan ng mga dahon pag nasilayan ng sinag ng araw.. lumalabas yung green na kulay.. truly beautiful

sige sarpon.. actually marami akong gustong ipost na mga "bloopers" shot, para matuto tayo at maging aware at ma level-up, kailangan ko lang talaga hingin ang permiso ng mga matatamaang subject, if-ever meron. for ethical reasons. :D

pero mamaya na rin, kasi may work pa ako eh.. :D makainom nga ng rum.. :bite::bite:

what makes this picture appealing? the 3 Layers composition rule. pansinin nyo yung division ng photo: yung sunbathing boys, trees, and the sky..

ordinary viewer lang po ako and i am not good in capturing images. sa capture na ito ni itchay, i find it nice considering that the subject was focused on the 3 person on that bench. as to most of you posted, it has something to do with balance. as an ordinary viewer, takaw-pansin sa akin agad yung fountain sa likod. it should have been taken nice kapag naka-sentro din sya just like the person in the middle or parked sya sa side ng 1st or 3rd person.

so if we say balance, do we actually need to consider the background?

thank you for your comments.

i'm no master also when it comes to photography. pero nung kinunan ko yong scene, nagdadalawang isip talaga ako which background to choose. nagandahan din kase ako sa kahoy. at yung fountain, pag naka full shower, ang ganda din tignan. i did try positioning to the right para masentro ang fountain, and at the same time makuha ko pa rin ang sunbathing folks. (if i remained in the center and sinentro ko rin ang fountain, isang guy lang makukuha sa picture. kung isang guy lang, di kasi dramatic, sa tingin ko. common, kumbaga. so i made it a point to get all three.) di masyadong maganda ang angle sa right, at maraming distractions behind the fountain from that angle. sayang nga lang, di na timing na full blast yung fountain nung pagkuha ko ng pic. hirap din kasi tumayming. daming passersby. :D

guys, i'm still learning the ropes. and i'm really getting a lot of good stuff hanging around with you guys. i'm going to post another pic here. open for comments. i was aiming for the wooden bridge, but also wanted to frame the pond. what say you? :)

I like this one . The shot turned out decently ... love the color because it gives it that layer of time effect.. I think this shot have great potential to be excellent photos . Good work kikoy! :)

I like it! I think with the overcast sky it made the colors come out since they weren't getting washed out by the bright sunlight .. :)

parang naalala ko ang kuha kong todo zoom din na may noise ~~ may nag tip sa akin, pag madilim daw ang lugar subukang itaas and ISO pag maliwanag naman daw ibaba, ~~ eto yata ang mahirap eh ~~ pero kailangang ma master ~~

though hindi ko pa rin ma master:D ~~~ hindi ma practice

Ang gagaling ninyo ~~ na miss ko eto ~~ lalo na pati ang ma meet si sir crispee. Nakakaaliw ang mga shots ninyo.

Dati ang alam ko lang kunan nang picture mga anak ko pag may mga events, e ngayon pati patak nang tubig pinagpapraktisan. All credits po kay Crispee na kumaladkad sa akin sa flickr.

Basta praktis lang daw po at alamin and camera.

Pero mukang iba talaga ang dating nang D40 ~~ astig ang lens niyan, hindi kaya nang camera ko ang silky bokeh background, kagaya nang kuha ni kikoy at itchay,

ang camera ko po ay di hamak na cybershot DSC-W5 na point and shoot ~~ pero very satisfied user po ako nito

at ang medyo rank up na fujifinepix S6000fd na sa ngayon, nangangailangan nang repair kase nagalusan ang pinaka importanteng lens, napagtitiyagaan pa naman kaya lang minsan lumalabas sa mga shots iyong galos, kaya hassle. Hindi ko pa nadadala para patignan ~~ pero pag ganyang nakaka enganyo iyang D40 ninyo baka magpalit na lang ako ~~ muri suru nga lang sa budget :eek:

pinahiram kasi ako ni RR ng lumang nikon lens nya na 70-210mm which is full manual(wlang autofocus and wlang auto exposure), ibig sabihin kailangan mo tantsahin yung correct parameters.. take a test shot, adjust accordingly.. hehe grabe napa praktis ako dun.. tapos sobrang dilim dun.. kahit wide open na aperture(f/4) di talaga kaya, ginawa ko nang iso 1600 yan.. huhuhu.. hindi rin pwde i sacrifice ang shutter speed kundi blur aabutin ko.. :D handheld pa at walang VR(vibration reduction), so kailangan minimum 1/60 second. at hindi pasmadong kamay.. :D

Wala ka sigurong lens protector (filter)?
wala akong nakitang lens protector dito sa mga outlets na pinupuntahan namin, naghahanap nga ako dati eh. Filter wala ~~ fixed na etong lens niya. Kaya limited and capacity niya.

Maganda ang view pero medyo bitin ang viewer sa mga naputol na reflection ng puno at water fountain.

Suggestion:
Mas magkakaroon ng interest ang viewer kapag kita ang kabuuan ng reflection. Katulad halimbawa ng sample sa ibaba. Note that the reflection was generated. It is a fake. Ginawa ko lang ito for representation at mas hamak na malamig sa mata ang original image.

Explanation:
Diagonal lines lead the eye from one part of the image to another and impart far more energy that horizontals. In this example, height of the trees from left to right and vice-versa.

Of course, the suggestions above do not apply at all times. And some viewers may disagree because of individual preferrence. Just sharing my 2-cents;)

morning mamimo.. pag practisan mo na yung pond. tapos post mo dito yung pics. tapos care to send na rin yung original jpeg galing ng camera para ma-inspect namin yung settings na ginamit at nang matulungan ka namin.. :D

watch out lang sa harsh lighting, kung masyadong maliwanag yung sunlight. hanap ka ng magandang panahon. tama lang yung lighting galing sa langit. :D

What say me? This is a nice shot. Since your focus is the bridge while trying to save interest on the pond, I think you should edit some elements from the original image.

Suggestion ko ay i-crop ang image. Huwag isama yung putol na parte ng island at bigyan pansin yung gilid ng pond sa may kanan.
