Kichijoji - 吉祥寺

We always hang around kichijoji area, a place where they say it differs from the rest of tokyo, although it is just located a bit west of middle tokyo. Kichijoji is a little town that, you could say, has a bit of everything that you'd want to see or buy - at least now that Yodobashi Camera has just opened. For us though, the best place to hang around the town, is the Inokashira Park (井の頭公園) just around 5 minutes walk from the station.

There are many nice places to visit in Tokyo, I guess, but we always find ourselves walking around Kichijoji at weekends and holidays. I don't know but maybe it's because it's close to our place and it's cheaper than going to farther places. We sometimes see Filipinos roaming around there too. For us, it is just a nice place to spend the holidays. Anyway, we want to share some of the pictures we took and will be taking, to give you a glimpse of what a magical and beautiful place Kichijoji really is...

when I just got married with my first husband, we were living in Minami oizumi, which was in the middle of Kichijouji and Hoya Station. My husbands office was in Takaido. He used to take me out around Kichijouji. It was a good place. I used to go shopping there ... OIOI and the archade store on the way to the park? specially the Yakitori Restaurant there...mmmm....
But since there was a crime happened there, ninki nakunatta kedo mada mada hito ga ippai desune.
Last time after me and my friends went there to watch a Play, namili kami sa LonLon....then we went to a nice coffee shop and cake was so good......mmmm...

dcat san, tanong ko lang po, propesyonal na photographer kaba? Ang ganda talaga ng mga pagkakakuha mo pati, mahilig kasi ako sa mga natures and outdoors na pictures.Ang galing ng mga focus and shots mo!!! Sana sa susunod sa ibang place uli at aabangan ko yan ha! Gambatte Ne!!!:)

salamat po sa lahat ng sumilip. :)
actually wala po kaming alam sa photography (although gusto naming matuto), at nakahiram lang ng nikon sa kapitbahay. tine-test drive lang namin yung d70 kung magni-nikon kami kapag nakaipon na, pero la pang ipon kaya hanggang ngayon di pa namin naisasauli. :D
