The Kawasaki International Association (http://www.kian.or.jp/) is looking for 1 volunteer interpreter/translator who is generally available on Wednesdays. The volunteer will be helping those kabayans who are not familiar with the Japanese language yet, and need help understanding communications from public institutions, governmental agencies, or NPO's. Transportation expenses will be shouldered by the association, and there will also be a little monetary gift for volunteers.

For those who are interested to help out, you may contact the center through the phone number listed on the website. And look for Ms. Kojima. Or send me a Private Message, or reply to this thread. I will gladly accompany any interested kabayans to the center. With free coffee, even. :)

Please spread the word.

Thank you for your interest. :)
