hello miles:) can you please use it in a sentence para maintindihan namin?
It can mean single-minded (いちずな~) or intently (いちずに~). Tama si selina, it would be better if you could give us the context in which it was used.
Tama ka paul Single minded

This is a very poetic word.
Most probably it is referred to a love from a medyo conservative woman to a guy, who usually is medyo outlaw or married to someone else or having halos walang pansin sa kaniya.
This word is often used in Japanese enka music or drama.
The connotation is that this woman keeps longing for this guy, without ever really trying to get in tough with him.
一途な愛、 一途な恋 are typical expressions.
一途な恋 has 15,000 hits, 一途な愛 has 22,000 hits sa Google.

tama sabi nila single minded kase siguro ang nagsasabi nun or kumakanta nun eh nakafocus lang ang pagmamahal sa isang tao,(Ikaw Lamang wala ng Iba!parang commercial ng johnson!hi!hi!)

ok, thanks guys. :) somebody said that word to me, pero ng tignan ko sa dictionary wala word na ganyan (ICHIZU), I think it's not turning right or turning left but just straight. hindi ko alam kung reffering sa tao o sa lugar. but then magandang pakinggan diba?

Well, there is an error in my previous post.
get in touch with, not get in tough with.
The interesting thing in lyrics in Japanese enka is that people are not really trying to say directly (in person) how much they love their lovers.
They just murmur their feelings to themselves or to someone else.
I want to shout to her, "Hey, lady, just call him, just go and confront him."
Another interesting thing is that a lot of women in karaoke videos are wearing kimono and walking around at a beautiful place, where as in actual life it is not common.
Same thing is maybe true for the concept of 一途な女, a rarity or nostalgia, something that is only in videos or in songs.
