LIBRE para sa TF members! Special training course on Digital Video Making and Introduction to Non-Linear Video Editing para sa teenagers at supportive Filipino mothers: Pamaskong Handog ang CJFF-Chocolate (Community and Home of Computer Learners and Teachers) Club.
Requirements:
a) kailangan may sariling digital video camera o keitai na may video camera capability.
b) Mas mainam kung may sariling notebook computer pero ok lang kung wala
c) Bring your own foods and drink at pamasahe for location shooting around Tokyo lamang po.
d) Kailangan tapusin ang buong 2 training session na three days each mula 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (December 28-29-30, 2007 at sa January 3-4-5, 2008)
e) Training Venue: Harajuku International Friendship House (10 minutes walk from Harajuku Station of Yamanote Line and Meijijingumae eki of Chiyoda Line)

Training Design for Teen’s Digital Video Making Camp-in Training
Two Sessions
First session - December 28-30, 2007, Second session - January 3-5, 2008
Objectives
On social and personal development:
1. To raise the level of awareness and analyzing capabilities of the participating young people on the social realities and their well being as children and members of the Filipino diaspora;
2. To develop communication skills and creative expressions of participants;
3. To develop a group of well rounded young producers of digital video and other digital media.
On technical skills development:
1. To hone the skills in using personal computer hardware and software, digital video camera and other equipment related to digital communication and information;
2. To provide teenage participants with foundation, knowledge and skills on digital video making;
3. To develop audio-visual arts appreciation among participants.
4. To provide a space where participants will be able to process concepts for an initial visual project.
From CJFF-Chocolate Club as the program proponent
1. To establish a teen video production unit for internet broadcast purposes
2. To develop an internet based alternative information and communication resource on Filipino migrants in Japan
3. To reach-out the youth from the Filipino community in Japan and other Japanese-Filipino youth in the Philippines
4. To conduct regular training on internet video broadcast for teenage Japanese-Filipino and Filipino youth in Japan

V. Experience video editing and making hands-on with the teacher in producing the first group’s video
VI. Experience the printing of the first group’s video into DVD and YouTube broadcast
VII. Video making project planning
VIII. Assignment: Write/create video script/story board for the first solo 3 minutes video project
IX. Assessment of the three days training
Day 4
I. Team building workshop: Focus on collective efforts in producing the team member’s video assignment
II. Presentation, critique and finalizing the production plan of the first solo 3 minutes video project of each team members
III. Lunch showing of a video documentary
IV. Video shooting and production
Day 5
I. Input: Soreal (social realities) in visual and communication arts/ migrants/people arts
II.Introduction to computer aided video editing making techniques
III. Using audio and sound effects in video projects
IV. Hands-on video editing and making and producing the first solo 3 minutes video
V. After dinner workshop: Social sensitivity on women and migration
Day 6
I. Introduction to free web hosts (i.e. multiply.com, etc)
II.Showing and critique of completed first solo three-minute video
III. Uploading to the internet of the final version of the first solo three-minute video for internet broadcast and for mobile phone viewing
IV. Assessment of the second three days session and evaluation of the whole six days training workshop
V. Forming the Chocolate Club internet video broadcast teen’s collective
VI. Planning for maintaining the regular internet video broadcast and orientation of duties and responsibilities of the video broadcast collective
VII. Awarding of certificates
VIII. Closing party with guest
