actually I'm a fan of the original American series
and haven't actually seen an epsiode of the Asian version.
but I thought there would be some AR fans in Japan just like me
who would be interested to know that Japan finally gets to
field a team, brother and sister Sawaka and Daichi Kawashima (http://amazing-race-asia.axn-asia.com/season2/teams/sawaka-daichi/)
to join other teams from countries like Singapore, Malaysia,
and the Philippines.

I'm just wondering, just like so many AR fans, why the Asian
version has to feature local celebrities :nono: (like Marc Nelson who's
representing the Philippines for this season... curious if he really
possesses Filipino citizenship...)
I prefer the concept of the original AR series that featured ordinary people.
I mean, they only became celebs AFTER the race.
I guess that's sort of an Asian mentality to feature pretty
and handsome stars, like Japanese TV where contestants of game shows are
all artista who win hideously expensive prizes while studio and
TV watchers could only drool in envy :rolleyes:
