There is a burgeoning sect [a cult actually] in the Philippines which has successfully recruited thousands into its membership roll. One of its teachings is that the Bible is NOT the Word of God, rather it contains the Word of God for what can we make of the words of Satan in the Bible?..........the words of God's enemies in the Bible?.....surely they are not God's words are they?
What about the words of Satan recorded in the Bible, the words of God’s enemies written in the Bible etc. Are they God’s Words?
2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
[Though "Scripture" here strictly refers to the Old Testament Scriptures, in principle however, they can be applied to the New Testament for they are Scripture too.]
All Scripture from Genesis to Revelation came from the mouth of the Lord. All of it is God-breathed. When you read of Satan’s words, the words of God’s enemies etc. recorded in the Bible, you are not hearing it from them directly. They are not the ones telling you about what they have uttered when you read the Bible.
Rather, you are hearing God recounting to you what they [His enemies] have said. God in Genesis through Moses is the one telling us about what exactly did Satan tell Eve. God in Matthew through Matthew is the one telling us about what exactly were the words spoken by the Pharisees. And that goes to all other portions of the Bible wherein we can read of ungodly men uttering sinful things.
The Bible is God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation.

Just my opinion, you may believe what you believe as much as you want. But using it against others for the purpose of accusing them as false, is as similar to an insane who doesn't know he's out of his own mind.
As similar to a crazy person accusing and shouting the word "guilty" to everyone he met along the road.
The complexity of the world can't be viewed only as black or white, save and not save. People who truely understand Gods' will, and heart, would never utter such word. They silently and with a loving heart awaits people to mature.
If we say "all in the bible is God's word", then we make God unbelievable. Because it stole human responsibility. For instance; The writtings/ letters of Paul to the people of the region he went is Pauls responsibility alone. If it hurt/strike someone and cause disbelief in God...that is Paul's work. Paul may be inspired in spirit, but his action is his alone, not God's word.

Just my opinion, I think all mentally deranged folks dont know that they are out of their mind right?

Thanks for sharing your creed. What religion is this?
If we say "all in the bible is God's word", then we make God unbelievable. Because it stole human responsibility. For instance; The writtings/ letters of Paul to the people of the region he went is Pauls responsibility alone. .
Can you explain your statement here a bit if you dont mind?

Then in giving an example for it you wrote:

Could you explain a bit? I thought you said: it steals human responsibility? Then in the same breath write: "Paul's responsibility alone".
If it hurt/strike someone and cause disbelief in God...that is Paul's work. Paul may be inspired in spirit, but his action is his alone, not God's word.

Can you elaborate more?
[Mt 13:57 So they were offended at Him (Jesus). But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house."
Mt 15:12 Then His disciples came and said to Him (Jesus), "Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying (of yours)?"
Sometimes the truth hurts but its the truth nonetheless.]
Stacie wrote:
"Paul may be inspired in spirit, but his action is his alone, not God's word"
1) Is not Paul's spirit part of his person? He acts because the spirit within [the inner person] decided.
2) 1Co 11:1 Imitate me (Paul), just as I also imitate Christ, just as I also imitate Christ.
Stacie wrote:
"but his action is his alone, not God's word"
The title is: The Bible [not Paul's actions]: Contains God's Word or is it the Word of God?
The issue is not about Paul's actions but Paul's writings.

The Word of God is AUM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aum). If you hear it, then you are 'Blessed'. :halo:
