I had lived in Osaka for 5 years, and had frequently been visiting Kyoto during those times. Three years ago i moved to Tokyo, and have been going to Ishikawa to go out fishing, and to visit two of my closest Japanese friends in Japan who are presently working there, and one of whom is also a member of TF.
Sometimes it's nice to go out of Tokyo and re-explore other parts of Japan. In addition to having a good alibi to take it easy and escape from work and studies, it is also a chance to find out what has changed to the places i've been - places that made a significant impression on my stay here in Japan.
This time, I tried to make the most out of a short holidays i have, visiting four places in approximately 5 days. There is also another reason why this must be so. I was accompanied by someone who haven't been to Kyoto and Osaka before, so I have to plan well so we could visit those places and also see where "i grew up" in Japan, meet my Japanese friends, and hopefully understand better the small differences between Kanto and Kansai.
I think the trip went well. We had so much fun, it was difficult to leave again and return to Tokyo and face the work we've left hanging during the holidays. Anyway, this will turn into a novel if i don't stop now. What I could only share with you guys are the photos we've taken during those five days. I hope you all like them.
