How's life in Hokkaido particularly Sapporo

Hello mga kababayans d2 sa Timog....I'm just new here...Sa mga pinoy who works and live in Hokkaido...help po naman...pwede po paki- describe nyo po how's life and the environment in Hokkaido? I am contemplating to move and work there, tentatively early next month...I just want to know about the surroundings, weather, foods, and apartment rates...malamig po ba talaga? kelangan ko ba wear thick clothings all the time? Mura ba apartment rates? At maganda ba magwork sa Sapporo in general? Dami ko na tanong ne...he he...well, kwento nyo nalang life experiences nyo sa Hokkaido nung bagong salta lang kayo dun...thanks :)

Its pretty cold during winter but its get hot during summers (pero mga one or two months lang).

We have a small Pinoy community here. Cost of living is a lot cheaper than the Kanto Area.
