Are foreigners allowed to own a Small Business here in Japan?

Tanong ko lang po kung pwede po bang mag-own ng business ang foreigner dito sa Japan?

Pilipino ba? sa palagay ko puede kahit na anong lahi,depende na lang siguro sa kakayahan
ng foreigner kung anong kaya niya.Marami namang nag-sho-shobai na gaijin sa Japan.
May Pinoy,Korean,Chinese ,May puti/itim,Indonesian..at marami pa.As long as your
business is legal & you pay taxes,maybe there will be no problem in owning small/big
business here(Japan).:)

Ibang lahi po na friend ko yung gustong sumubok. Anong site po kaya yung mga guidelines to have business here in Japan. (Sana po yung english version) kasi po, mahirap basahin kung purely japanese.

I owned a french and italian restaurant here. But owning a business here is a tough when you are just starting. The capital needed is huge. What do you have in mind?

Walang problema should you decide to put up a small business here. As long as you have the necessary permit & license at siempre nagbabayad ng tamang tax then I guess you are on the right track. I have several friends who have put up their small business & others into omise business - okay naman ang takbo. Good luck.
