Guys and gals:
Happy New Year!
http://www.tpmovers.org/breast_cancer_networ k_MedicalMission_Dec 2005.htm

Hi Tonyang! My aunt died of metastatic breast cancer at a young age as well as my grandmother though it was later in her life.
Breast cancer prevention and control are the best ways to limit the damage this disease causes. Self-palpation and periodical radiological exams, as well as a regular visit to your doctor, especially women in their 40's and those who have a positive family history are among the basic ways of controlling this disease. Hopefully, less and less young lives will be spared through knowledge of these simple ways of keeping this type of cancer in check.
And sorry to have misled you in believing that I was inquiring about something serious - hairballs. As you may have noticed, my avatar is one of a cat and cats usually get hairballs stuck in their throats due to their licking themselves. I meant that inquiry as a joke to lighten things up.

Saludo at pasasalamat sa isa na namang very meaningful and proactive project mo Ka Tonyang!!
Good planning, actual actions, proactive thinking are amongst the descriptions
that fit what you do. Mostly reactive thinking and attitude tayo, on the average, or in general. Dahil pag business, mostly proactive, visions. Pag empleyado, do as one is told - reactive, mainly. (Tyotto hondai kara dassen shityatta;)
Same with this specific project, it is proactive. The real solution for our society, is not cure the cancer, but do proactive actions to avoid the cancer.
More power to you and your projects!!

"About these extrapolations of prevalence and incidence statistics for Breast Cancer: These statistics are calculated extrapolations of various prevalence or incidence rates against the populations of a particular country or region. The statistics used for prevalence/incidence of Breast Cancer are typically based on US, UK, Canadian or Australian statistics. This extrapolation calculation is automated and does not take into account any genetic, cultural, environmental, social, racial or other differences across the various countries and regions for which the extrapolated Breast Cancer statistics below refer to. As such, these extrapolations may be highly inaccurate (especially for developing or third-world countries) and only give a general indication (or even a meaningless indication) as to the actual prevalence or incidence of Breast Cancer in that region."
- Gayon pa man, isang babala lamang ang nais nating ipahiwatig... puwedeng ilagay natin ang ating sitwasyon sa "one of the top countries with highest incidence rates of breast cancer".
:dogpile: :dogpile: :dogpile: :dogpile: :dogpile: :dogpile: :dogpile: :dogpile: :dogpile:
