Sabi ko: "What?" "You paid hundreds of dollars for non-sense virus?"

I told them: Here are the free anti-virus programs that work better than commercial virus software.

3. NOD32 (minimal fee lang) :)

para makatipid sa mga antivirus softwares:

1. never say yes to anything executable on the internet, unless it comes from reputable sites like google, yahoo etc.

2. never open email attachments from unsolicited emails.

3. always back up your data on a cd. or use free online storages.

4. never leave anything on your computer you're not willing to lose. if a virus happens, you must be prepared to format your pc.

5. never install antivirus softwares, it will just slow down your computer.

Haha, lest I be accused of going OT. Can't help but smile :) by the way you described your friend as Mayabang? Reminds me of some pinoys' flawed concept of the word "yabang".

Kapag mas magaling yung isang pinoy, ay ang yabang naman.
Kapag maabilidad yung isang pinoy, ay ang yabang naman.
Kapag umasenso ang pinoy, ay ang yabang naman.

BTW, siguro kanya kanyang diskarte pero sa experience ko po ay oks ang dalawang virus app. So if one fails - the other gets to catch it.

There's no such thing as a free lunch. You get what you pay for. If you pay nothing then surely there's a catch. You don't get much support or extra features like those who buy commercial applications. While I don't spend hundreds for a year of support (I don't use a credit card either - so that leaves me as not mayabang? :-)), I enjoy the benefit of constant updates and security.

Heeehhh...ganoon ba yon...pag gumamit ka nang bibabayaran o binibiling anti-virus program eh mayabang na ang dating.....kung ganoon ay mayabang din pala ang dating ko if I'll say kababayad ko lang nang ￥11,000 for 3 years na paggamit sa Micro Trend's ウイルスバスター２００８......hi ndi ko kasi kabisado ang pag-update at yung security na kailangan nang pc namin:O...pero hindi through credit card....

Siguro lang naman na pinaganda lang ni zionchild ang story just to show sa atin na maraming freebies sa website ..binigay niya sa atin ang link..para ishare ang mga information regarding free anti virus software sa website.

Kung toto man ang story... sila nang dalawa ang nakakaalam kung pagmamayabang nga or just plain pagbibida as usual friends lang.. well ..istorya niya iyon. .. so be it..

i've been using free version of AVG and a License McAfee 8.5.0i.. so far i didn't experienced any problems or my PC is slowing down because of two anti-virus running at the same time. :)
