Careful while downloading

Never download software or updates from an untrustworthy source. This statement becomes problematic when you take into consideration that all big and small providers work with (Transparent) proxy caches for cost reasons, and it is not possible to identify their presence (CISCO SILENT PROXY, SQUID in "silent mode".) Even FTP servers frequently used to download shareware and freeware very often work with tuned in proxies.;)

Since these proxies only store information that is freely available from the Internet, the system operators hardly protect them against attacks. Apart from that , such proxy systems cannot be protected using a firewall. This would mean controlling too many connections. The performance would be extremely poor. Hackers/Attackers use these facts by applying manipulated drivers/updates/software to the proxy cache thereby achieving an enormous distribution of their viruses such as Trojan etc........

gud pm mga ka TF hirap nko tlaga mangapa sa PC ko palibhasa wla nman tlaga akong alam gumamit nito kabibili lng nito madalang ko pang mahawakan kc nga nagwowork ako pagnag tatype nga ako ang tagal kc hinahanap ko pa mga letters kya nga ako bumili ng PC pra matuto magdownload ng music ,videos etc. pro dko prin matutunan bka nman may mabait na magtuturo pano at saan site ba may free download ng music ,videos , ang isa pa totoo binabasa ko lng mga thread ng TF enjoy ko kc maganda nilalaman pro dko nkakareply kc nga matagal me magtype siguro nman pagngtgal na bibilis dn ako he he he , masakit na nga likod ko ngayon maigsi lng nman sinulat ko , wag nman kyong mainis mga ka TF!:pwait ko nlang kng may mag reply:)

salamat sa good information.baka nga may problem din ang cp ko,eh...ako din di naman gaanong marunog sa comp.may itatanong ako sa mga marunong sa computer...ano ba iyung virus na ang pangalan ay "BOT":)
