You can join some workshop for free. If you heard about Ritsuko Nakata MAT method of teaching was also great! Gawa ka demo MODEL ACTION TALks..Looks for summergirl she can help you..

Well first, ask your soon to be employer these 4 things.

1. How many students?
2. What kind of lesson are you supposed to teach? What I mean is are you the main teacher or the Assistant Language Teacher (ALT)?
3. How long is your lesson gonna be? 20 minutes or the whole 45 minutes
4. What grade/level are the students you gonna be teaching for the trial lesson?

Next decide the topic that you want to teach. Colors, food, fruits etc.
and then...
Decide the Target Language you want to teach.
For example if it's food.
What food do you like? I like ---.
or
Do you like ---? Yes, I do. / No, I don't.
or
My favorite food is ---.

If it's for an ALT lesson plan, decide how to incorporate the japanese teacher's role into your lesson plan. (If the japanese teacher is happy you'll likely get hired:))

I'll check back once you post the facts about your lesson plan.:D
