Hi IT experts,
I have a question regarding the files of a program when you modify it. I'll try to explain the situation as clear as I can. Hopefully you can help me out here. Hindi ko kasi maktia sa google e.
When a program is currently installed in a pc, and then you run the setup again, there are usually 3 options to choose from (Modify, Repair, and Remove). Then when you choose the 'Modify' option, it somehow (please correct me if I'm wrong here) re-installs / overwrites the current files with the files in the installer right? Now, how would I know that the previous file was really overwritten?
I've looked at date modified, date accessed, date created...and it all seems to date back when the file was created by the developer. :(
Any help would be much appreciated.
