Hello my TF Family! How are you? I just want to share with you a simple video that inspires me a lot. I joined this work camp since 2003 (YMCA Work camp) and take it from me its BEST!
YMCA JAPAN (Saitama)-PHILIPPINES (Pangasinan) Inter-Socio Cultural YOUTH WORKCAMP is a annua, I am just thinking…what to write about this year’s camp. In my sense, this is the challenging work camp I’ve ever joined ‘coz I felt stress very much! He.he.he. just joking. The truth is, it was wonderful!!!!!!
So, what made this year’s camp especial? When we say especial, there are things happen that we can’t forget whether bad or good. Workcamp is a life-changing experience. Workcamp in one word, hmm… actually, it’s difficult to think (joking) but it’s a HELP…. Having Extraordinary Lovefor People. (Oh it’s deep).hehehehe. Seriously, it took me several years to realize this stuff. I often give meaning on a word that describes the workcamp yearly but as of the moment this HELP is the best acronym I’ve ever defined whoa…. Honestly, it’s from the heart! hehehe.
To give you preview about the YMCA Workcamp, 9 Japanese (from SAITAMA YMCA) and 11 Filipinos (from PANGASINAN YMCA) students and young professionals joined together to construct three (3) comfort rooms and three (3) manual water pumps for the community in Barangay Warding, Bayambang, Pangasinan, Philippines not only that, participants both Japanese and Filipino Campers constructed the said project with their own hands. Isn’t touching? And we did it!!!! I have to congratulate all campers, Staff and to all people who made this YMCA Workcamp possible.
For those persons who shared their LOVE for People, in any way, a million thanks to you. Keep going and stay in circle.
