Description of position Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Citizens and Cultural Affairs is looking for volunteers to assist Japanese translators as part of their training exercises.

Every year, the Tokyo Disaster Prevention Department conducts a training program/workshop for Japanese volunteer translators. We are looking for foreigners in Tokyo who can participate during the workshop by acting the part of distressed foreigners.

Hi Adechan! Kumusta na? The volunteer internship is just 1-day activity. Tumawag lang sa phone na naisulat ko sa itaas for reservation. Ang Japanese friend ko sa NGO ay inirecommend ako noong 2004 at may mga konting personal na katanungan lang mula sa Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Sayang na 'di ako natuloy kasi may hindi inaasahang nangyari pero sabi biya na kumpleto raw ang pangalan, pagkain at pamasahe ko doon sa expected na dadalo sa event. I was even asked to apologize sa organizer dahil sa nangyari. So nasa sa iyo o sa nagpapatanong kung gusto niya na tuluyan ang pag-volunteer niya sa future TMG foreign activities.
