I know all of us are music lovers, but we have different tastes when it comes to music. It could be Classical, Rock N' Roll, Rap, HipHop, OPM, etc. I could go on and on. I'm not even familiar, yet, with the other categories, because there are so many of them. :O

So, what type of music you enjoy listening to?

Any particular song that you love listening to in your chosen category?

i love jazz, ska, reggae, alternative, some folk at country music at rock.

currently im listening to michael buble. sobrang gusto ko yung 'home' at james blunt especially his 'you're beautiful' and coldplay's 'the scientist,' 'speed of sound' and 'yellow.'

happy rin yung 'thank you' at 'white flag' ni dido.

gusto ko rin ang mga soundtracks ng movies. lalo na OST ng mga pelikula ni adam sandler- 50 first dates at wedding singer. gusto ko rin yung OST ng Charlie's Angels at syempre Moulin Rouge.

all-time fave ko sina bob marley (cool pakinggan and liberating), enya (super relaxing and deep), madonna, at alanis (full of angst, hehe), eraserheads (pang-recall ng masasayang teenage days). :)

masaya rin sina paulo santos, mymp at nyoy volanteng pakinggan. minsan kapag senti mode- rachel alejandro, regine velasquez, odette quesada.

obviously im into thug music genre right now. i like 50 cent, jay-z, tony yayo, nelly and snoop dogg.

50 cent - massacre album (candy shop, just a lil bit, disco inferno); get rich or trie dyin (not the soundtrack; esp. the song 'we think alike' )
jay-z - collaboration wit r. kelly (and i like his song 'big pimpin' and 'h to the izzo')
nelly - halos lahat ng songs nya nababaliw ako. (over and over again, my place, grillz, country grammar, ride wit me)


for rnb naman i like listenin to kci & jojo, usher, joe, alicia keys, tamia, faith evans, etc. pero i don't like super cheesy songs, cheesy lang :D

when i was back in college and high school i actually listen to alternative, rock, grunge or whatever you call it. i like smashing pumpkins, no doubt, red hot chilli peppers, the cardigans and veruca salt.

no doubt - their first internationally released album and Rocksteady album
red hot - i literally grew up wit their songs kahit medyo same ang melody. i like zephyr song and soul to squeeze

Ako naman depende sa MODE ko. Pag peacefull ang isip ko prefer slow Phil Collins songs to slow Chicago songs. Pero pag magulo ang isip then i'll start from U2 hanggang umabot ng Led Zip.

Well, currently I enjoy listening to Audioslave, whose lead vocals is Chris Cornell from the former Soundgarden band. Joined with former members of the band Rage Against The Machine.

Audiolave songs I like in particular are Like A Stone and Shadow Of The Sun. I believe they belong to the Alternative category.

I also like to listen to Electronic music. Like Extreme Ways by Moby, and Ready Steady Go by Paul Oakenfold.

Sometimes I listen to soft music like Love Song the version of 311.

So alternative, electronic and some mellow music are my preference.
And sometimes some Heavy Metal music like all the songs performed by Rammstein, even though most of the songs are in German, I can still dance to their music, weird huh? :D

Mga mellow musics or love songs ang gusto ko.....pero kung minsan mga dance music....tulad halimbawa pag mag-wa-warm up sa umaga....sabay sayaw he he he he.....kasama ko ang little angel ko sa warm ups ko.....but she likes Hawaiian dance...kaya tuloy nagawa ko sya ng hawaiian skirt(thru straws).

On the Classical category, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata is what I like the most. While others think it's romantic, I find Moonlight Sonata to be dark and haunting.
That's just me though.

my preference is the standards; but mostly done by new artists (jean frye sidwell, holly cole, patricia barber, christy baron, sara k, salena jones and a whole lot more).

i also listen to bossa nova, jazz, fusion.

the 1812 overture is s dynamic piece of music that will test the listener and his/her system to it's limits. choral music is also very soothing, my current everyday piece is 'angels from the realms of glory' as sung by the boys air choir from england.
