View Full Version : Private messages and the public forums
This is an announcement regarding esturyshade's post in which she complained about private messages that she got from docomo.
While I haven't read the whole thread yet, my position regarding this is that she should have complained to the Administrator or the Moderators through the private messaging system and not post on the public forum something that she got in private (that's why they're called "private messages" by the way, they're not meant to be public).
I therefore removed the thread from the public forums.
To esturyshade and to every member, private messages in Timog Forum should remain private. If you have complaints about a message that you received through the private messaging system, please contact the Administrator or Moderators but don't post the private messages in the public forums. Hi Nick,
Thank you for your action with regards to this thread mentioned.
Yes, PM's are really Private messages, and they will stay that way.
One thing I can assure you, should there any be any complains they will be done through the PM's.
You got to the point - simple, and straight.
Thanks Nick and the Super Moderators.
Hope that TF stays a healthy, happy home.
Having read the whole thread, I wonder what the whole fuss is about. Here's the thread (http://www.timog.com/forum/showthread.php?t=259 2) where the arguments started. Docomo answered a question in the Visa and Legal Issues forum, esturyshade made an off-hand comment, which annoyed docomo, who sent her displeasure to esturyshade through a private message.
My advice to you, docomo: keep calm and patient. And to you esturyshade: don't post off-topic answers to serious threads and especially don't post private messages on the public forums and blow the whole thing out of proportion. Now you two should forget all this and move on. Life is just too short to be wasted on petty things.
Again, to all members, if you have a problem with another member, don't post it in the public forums; contact the Administrator or Moderators instead. Posting it in the forums will make the problem worse. Timog Forum is a friendly place; we should resolve conflicts in a friendly way, and as quietly as possible.

Sad and funny at the same time.
How can that be... I haven't even read any of those posts.
You're looking good nick.... must be the 'shrooms.
Thank you for what you do for us.
If I was a moderator, I'd ban people... for a few minutes anyway :D
Jeez, I must be bored.
