We have just moved recently. An NHK guy come right after we moved.

It is a Saturday morning, 1 day after we moved. We were still full of boxes. (still have many unopened boxes now:) Alas 9 pa lang yata ng umaga non. I was not able to control myself. 'Hindi pa kami nakakahinga, nandito na kaagad itong linta', ang pumasok sa isip ko. Basta pera, pare-pareho lang talaga, kahit anong nasyon.

I did not wait for the guy to talk. Just told him "we do not receive any
signal. There is no antenna, he can look around. He can also look
inside to confirm that we have no internal antenna". I am certain
I sounded angry. Napanganga lang yong ojisan. And I said
"ii desu ka" and closed the door.

Not sure when is he going back, or if he will still get back. But I am
not going to pay them a penny when I am already paying for
specific channels of cable TV or skyperfect TV.

Ang dilemma ko ngayon is how to avoid paying in the future. I pay the annual fees but I've always believed that NHK should be free. May nabasa ako na hindi naman mandatory yung NHK fees. Yun ga lang, kung ayaw mong ma-istorbo nung kolektor, bayaran na lang yung fees.
