Seen this in one of the presentations I was looking at today:

I think what you wrote is true. I do beleive that "If you want to win, you have to bet because youll never know... " , "If you are a fisherman dont search for luck in the mountains and if you are a mountain man dont search for luck in the seas".
This is a good advice coming from my wife and my seniors, " golf is business" and for me its bikes and the more I ride, the more Ill get lucky.
Choose your friends and always stick with the winners and dump the loosers because they are bad luck.

Add, "Fortune favors the bold", and "God helps those who help themselves" to those. Ang problema sa atin mahilig tayo magdasal na sana maging ganito, sana maging ganyan, pero wala nama tayong ginagawa, o meron man pero kulang sa effort. :O Somehow we were educated to pray to God and leave it to Him. Tama sana to, kung dagdagan pa ng do your best sa unahan.

Very good question and my answer is yes. Kung hihilahin niya akong pababa na sa puntos na maaapektohan ang trabaho at pamilya ko ay syempre.
