This is one seminar that I want to attend. However, I can't for some reasons. Do you happen to know if they will be giving out hand outs or any materials related to the topic? Interested talaga ako. Salamat!

This is the same seminar I posted in the "Business Talk" section
http://www.timog.com/forum/showthread.php?t=285 6

Thanks Tonyang for posting the details.

I think there will be hand outs. I attended a similar seminar before in Mipro's office in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. For the first part, doing business in Japan, the hand outs are all in Japanese. I would expect that they prepare hand outs too for the 'business in the Phil' topic.

Amy, for doing business in Japan, if you are fine with Japanese documents, go to a "Book Off" store near you. They have used books titled that will sound like 'ちいさなかいしゃのつくりかた chiisana na kaisya no tsukurikata', at a lot cheaper price than new ones. Those books are more comprehensive, some even summarize the steps nicely.

Good luck to you.

d southpaw and tonyang,

Thanks for the tip. I actually have a baby project in mind, something like a recruitment agency based here but only for filipinos - sounds ambitious i know but i'm still trying to find ways to get started. anyway, whenever I try to look at the bigger picture, I realize even more that it would really entail a lot of hardwork, effort, financial resources and support. It's okay but it's kinda overwhelming. Business seminars like the one you posted is one good way to get started. unfortunately, can't make it. if they can have something like that in Osaka, that would really be great. anyhow, i'll start with the book d southpaw recommended.

thanks!

IT o iba pa?

Something like that but I still don't have anything concrete.
