Any advice will be greatly appreciated.Maraming salamat po in advance.:)

conditions of your PC now: OS is English with Japanese Language Support (Japanese IME)
And you want to install a particular Japanese software...

Kaya better confirm with the vendor kung kaya niyang gumana sa english windows, pero japanese supported naman, if they are not sure, ask mo kung pupuwedeng I try, dalahin mo kamo yung PC mo (if laptop).

i would suggest mag "dual boot" ka.

eto nagresearch ako ng konti.... with WIKIPEDIA..
Ichitaro (一太郎, ichitarō? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Japanese)) is a Japanese word processor produced by Justsystems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justsystems), a Japanese software company. Ichitaro occupies the second share in Japanese word-processing software, behind Microsoft Word (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Word). It is one of the main products of the company. Its proprietary file extension is ".JTD". ATOK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATOK), an IME (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Input_method_editor) developed by Justsystems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justsystems), is bundled with Ichitaro.
Para pala syang MS WORD...
Ayun sa isang website na nakita ko (http://perrin3.com/japan/using-ja-on-en-pc/)
Ichitaro for English Windows (http://www.shinshin.net/justsystem/en/taro6.html)
Ichitarois a very popular Japanese word processor for use on Japanese operating systems, but this one is for an English OS.

(For Windows XP OS)
1. In Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, in second tab. Be sure the Supplemental Language Support -> Install files for East Asian Languages check box is checked. If its not yet installed, when you click apply, you will be prompt to insert your windows XP installer. Just follow the rest of the installation wizard.
2. In Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, in the third tab, Language for non-Unicode Programs, select Japanese from the list box and apply.
3. Check if the Font used by the japanese software you installed is installed in your PC. But most of the fonts will be installed when you install files for east asian languages in #1. Else goto microsoft website and download new sets of Font for japanese language. If you install IME for microsoft office, those fonts will be installed too.
4. If you want to set input language, In Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, in second tab. Text services and input languages, click details then set it there.
