My 4 month old baby girl is teething-pls help!

Gusto ko lang pong humingi ng advice on where to get/buy teething gels here in japan.Maybe the mothers here can give me ideas.My baby girl starts teething and she gets cranky,refuses to drink milk and wakes up at night because of her itchy swelling gums. a friend advice me to apply this Calgel teething gel (she gave me a 10g tube) and it soothed her for a while. I wonder if I can buy it in Japan drugstores too kasi i tried tsuruha and daruma but it's not available. i will appreciate any ideas and help.thanks.

Alam mo punta ka ng welcia merong teether dun, tsaka normal lng sa baby na medyo ayaw dumede kasi masakit at makati yong gums nila, ganyan din kasi ang baby ko eh minsan pa nga nangangagat, nagugulat na lng ako.Pero try mongpumunta ng welcie na malapit sa inyo kasi hanggang 12 am naman yun. sana nakatulong ako, gambatte ne mahirap talaga may baby:) :)

Hi neehs_iris, advice ko lang if you dont mind, dont be so dependent on teething gels, baby's could swallow it even if you dont know, if you want to, please visit your pedia and ask some advice para much more safe.

try mo maglagay ng wet gaze sa freezer,pag medyo frozen na, pakagat mo sa baby mo na parang teether, it will help to soothe her gums...o kya frozen banana, it'll do wonders too!!!

hi,ako kasi nakabili on base ng teething gel pro hindi ko rin nagamit. ksi nga hindi rin naman sya pwede gamitin ng bata on a prolonged basi.i have twin baby girls.what you can do is give her a chilled teether & its ok to let her bite your finger once in a while to relieve her but just make sure your hands are clean.tapos kapag sinusumpong na just distract her & play with her,cuddle her & give her your love..ksi lilipas din naman yan.goodluck!

thanks for the responses. she's using teethers now and i sometimes massage her gums with a cold cloth. i plan to use the gels in extremely painful cases and when everything wouldn't work. i'm usually alone with her as my husband works from daytime till evening so, i have a lot of worries on what to do if she's having a hard time coping with teething pain. anyway,thank you and i'll put all the advice in mind!

hello, tama sila dumadaan sa baby talaga yang pangangati ng gums, at nilalagnat din yan pag talagang tutubuan na ng ipin. hayaan mo at malalagpasan din yan which is normal lang talaga sa baby, kaya you don't have to worry about it.
