Hi dranny,

Mas magiging malinaw kung malaman namin kung anong bagay ang pinaguusapan. :) Is this some type of testing apparatus? Anyway, to give you a general idea:

Asterisk (*) marks indicate dimensions (of some particular item) with attached stopper boards (or plates, sheets etc.) to prevent mold from opening (perhaps accidentally?).

well actually sa work ko yan e:D , pati kasi yung trainor kong hapon nahihirapan syang mag translate, kaya naisipan kong ipa translate sa inyo.....

anyway...this is a note, found in the drawing of a certain car maker, specifically sa molde ng bumper ng sasakyan....and i think ok na yung translation ni sir paul...:thumb:

Okay ang mga online translations para sa mga common at single words (ginagamit ko ito palagi), pero kung mga ganitong sentence ang kailangang i-translate at kailangan ang maintindihan ang context, malayo ang nagiging resulta ng mga software translations.

If you want a translation software, I cannot recommend anything
because I've only used one product. But I can give you a feedback. :)
I've used Fujitsu's Atlas (V8). Some notes on V8:

1. Just like online translation sites, you cannot and should not expect
it to give you a 100% accurate translation. If you do want that, it would be
best to hire a professional translator.
2. You need to have a good knowledge of both English and Japanese
in order for you to determine how accurate the translation is.
3. There is an edittable dictionary database which I find very convenient
as I can add new entries or edit the existing ones.
4. I do not know how good the latest version (V12) is when compared with V8.

By the way, whenever I'm asked to translate at work (not my job really :O ), I
also consult www.alc.co.jp, Kenkyusha's Lighthouse J-E and E-Jdictionaries,
Google, sometimes Yahoo/Yahoo JP, and of course Japanese colleages (when doing E to J).

I'm handling a job wherein our client is Japanese...
I noticed that whenever I ask some questions (using English as my medium) regarding thier job for us they do not reply...
But when I try to use Nihonggo, imediately they will reply...
Although I know the basic about Nihonggo, sentence construction and grammar is my big problem...
I have this feeeling na baka mali na pala un sinasabi ko kapag nag- email me sa kanila using Nihonggo...
Anyway thanks, try ko un mga suggestions mo...

for english>jan, jap>english, can try this link.. Ito yung EXCITE ..
also been using this pero as they said, you have to understand a little of japanese (composition). Kasi your sentences will be translated as it is.. Pwedeng maiba ang mensahe/context. KEY: Gamitan lang ng simpleng sentence pattern pra di mhirapan ang "translator" :D at hindi ma-mis-interpret o mis-translate.

Hindi ko pa na-try mag-explore ng ibang translator..
