Thanks in advance!

Hello maverick_jp
I only know of these 2 places, but perhaps they handle foreign currencies (Euro, USD, etc but not in yen due to currecy fluctuations)..
Campbell & Co. Ltd (http://campbellco-site.net/13655/index.html)
Citibank Japan (http://www.citibank.co.jp/en/inv/index.html)
Both can conduct business in English. You can learn more about their business from their websites.

You can invest your money in the Japan stock market. I use E-trade Japan (etrade.ne.jp) and Rakuten's Marketspeed (http://www.rakuten-sec.co.jp/ITS/PRNT_V_TOP_Marketspe ed.html) to help me do it on our own (Japanese nga lang). Mas kumita pa yung pera namin nung namili kami ng stocks kaysa sa bangko na parang safety deposit box lang dahil sa sobrang baba ng interest. Pero the stock market is not for everyone but it will surely be worth it if you know what you're doing.

Why don't you try our very own. Try calling PNB and Metrobank. I'm sure meron silang mga investment products suited for Filipinos living in Japan.

Saving or time deposits pa lang ang pwede sa PNB. (http://www.pnbtokyo.co.jp/)
Not sure with Mbank. I do not even care to look at their site. Nakaka-disappoint kase ang mga tao don. Right after the Leyte disaster, tumawag kami dito sa dalawang bangko para i-confirm kung meron silang program na iwi-waive nila yong remittance fee going to Phil Red Cross accounts. Sa PNB meron, dito sa isa, we got a cold NO.
Unfortunately for our case, it is not the first time that their person responding on the phone does not seem to have the concept of 'customer experience or satisfaction'.

Several years ago, not sure if they changed policy yet, Citibank Japan was offering their investment products to Japanese nationals only. I did not care to get back to them after that.
