The New Testament says that Jesus walked on water, but a Florida university professor believes there could be a less miraculous explanation -- he walked on a floating piece of ice.

There is a possibility. Why? Almost all of us knew Jesus Christ as the one Who suffered for our sins and so on.But how many of us knew of Jesus as a boy?And in His childhood He is already performing some wonderful things while He plays. All of the things that are written about Him were not put into writings and included in the Holy Scriptures. The accounts of the life and preaching of Jesus were written in papyrus. When the compilation of these writings was done some writing were not included.I would say that the Bible is not complete when it comes to the story of the life of Jesus. There were lots of these lost apocryphal books like the Gospel of Marcion or The Revelation of Peter or The Lost Gospel According To Peter which we cannot find in the Bible. The Lost Books Of The Bible by Dr. Frank Crane has all the accounts of these books. So to say,we have never known Jesus deeper as the Lost Books Of The Bible.

@ fisher san- I think tama ka.

Its true na marami talagang mga bagay or facts na di natin nalalaman as a regular person about Jesus. Marami din daw kasing bagay ang hindi publish at lost part nang Bible.

Regarding the suggestion walking on ice. Since it is only a theory, sure it is possible. Yet in my opinion, I'll say its stupid. Sea faring people on that part of the globe, even those times were not ignorant on a fact/ notion, of seing ice, floating in water. Ice is not a very rare phenomenon , specially in higher altitude, some mountain in middle east.( Not like in south east Asia or Philippines). If it is floating on water, and if its big, maybe anybody can ride/walk on it.

Simon and some others who were born, raised and were then fisherman themselves, if ice was the case, could surely be able to identify such facts/matters.

He talked about faith/belief before walking out of the boat, and reality that he didn't went down at first. Not transfering to another floating matter/object. Ice afloat has big part beneath and not easy to manuever.

No one in his right mind would let himself float only on ice in the middle of the sea/lake for that matter. Any good sea farers understand the high risk of getting wet in cold water.

Matthew 14:30 speak of "great," "strong," "contrary," and "boisterous " winds.

How could a man calmly walking and talking while on a piece of ice which is being tossed about by strong, "boisterous" winds in the midst of the sea?

How about Peter, who "walked on the water, to go to Jesus" (Matthew 14:28-33), did he walked on the water to get to the piece of ice Jesus was walking on? or did he have his own private floating piece of ice?
