its a matter of preference or こだわり na lamang iyan sa side nung makakakita nito.
I suggest na sundin mo.

anumang maaring maging problema

Yon sigurong location ay preference nga, na dini-decide (I am guessing here) pag nag-register ng 会社. Wrong location of it is considered a mistake and one will not want to get mistaken with the name of someone he/she does business with. Kaya ka nagalitan ng boss mo.

As yujin said, it is to be aware of it and follow how the company puts it in their name.

Hello sensei,

It makes quite a difference. Tulad ng sabi ni d_southpaw, it is a matter of respect for your clients. Pangalan nila yan, kaya kailangan bigyan ng proper respect by getting the name right. In English, it would be the equivalent of wrong spelling or wrong name order.

Example: How would a single lady named Maria Teresa Cruz feel if she received a letter addressed to "Mrs. Teresa Crus Maria" ? Para na rin siyang nakatanggap ng sulat na addressed to "the resident who happens to occupy this apartment, whoever you may be, we don't really care".

By the way, try not to use "atama" at "ketsu" to refer to the position of "kabu". The Japanese usually say "mae-kabu" or "ato-kabu" - sounds more polite.

To all:

Thanks for the information.

if you are referring to your company...kunwari taga Agilent ka, and nag-email ka sa counterpart mo...say IBM...it would be appropriate to address them like

and to address your own company,

ala lang, that's how it goes when I email other comapanies
and wala pa namang kumokontra....for 8years.
