if you're confident about your ability to speak in english, i would suggest that you try applying at gaba as an english teacher. i heard that they have no problems hiring Filipinos just as long as you're fluent in english and confident. by the way, you mentioned that you're a college graduate, right? may i ask, what type of visa do you have right now? also, try looking for jobs in gaijinpot.com:)

there was a posting last month dito about english teaching jobs(interac) dami daw ang pumasa so if you are interested, try looking for that thread somewhere here:)

around the the first week of april, interac was haggling for non-native teachers because of the shortage of applicants to their company but the downside was they offered less competitive salaries than native speakers(around 5 to 7 lapad plus), also sans relocation allowances offered to native ones.

try mo gaijinpot, my sis got an it job in a foreign investment bank in tokyo by cold calling/posting in the site last month.

happy hunting!

I got inspired by your sister's experience in job hunting here . I'm just wondering if your sister has been living here when she applied for an IT job? Kasi my husband is coming here in Japan next month and we're thinking if it's possible for him to get a Human resources-related job here. He has a four-year extensive experience as a Human Resource manager in various companies in the Philippines, mostly multi-nationals. Although, he's not discounting the possibility of teaching English since he's fluent with the language, he'll be very happy if he can continue his HR career here in Japan.

Hopeful for your reply, thank you vey much.

So makakatulong kng marunong siya Japanese kahit paano. Pero kng HR siya sa pinas, I am assuming na ok na ok ang english level niya. In that case, mas malaki ang possibility niya makakuha ng teaching job. Mejo mukhang magulo itong message ko ah. hehe senxa na. Hope it helped.
