Yes, it is possible. My situation is like yours. I have been given one year visa here last year lang, but I am staying in the Philippines for my study. Then nag-expire this April 2006 so I renewed again.I got one year again which will end next year. Weird di ba? First time kong nagkavisa, I went immediately to the Philippines.I just stayed in Japan for 1 month then return to my home country.
Well, in your case, just be sure that you got re-entry permit. I got multiple re-entry permit though one year lang visa ko. Every 3 months il go back in Japan and stay for 28 days or more, then uwi ulit sa atin. Everytime na pupunta ako d2,kinakabahan ako sa Immigration. The officer might ask why I am staying in the Philippines, what is the reason I got Japanese visa if I am not staying here for good.Ahh!!Buti na lang, ala pang incident na ganun.

if you have 3 year-visa, no problem, u can study in the Philippines. Just be sure ul go back in Japan using multiple re-entry .So, the immigration might not be confused why you are staying in the Philppines for a long time, while you are holding Japanese visa...

I'm at a loss at your situation. Are you enrolled at the Philippine affiliate of your Japanese University? Or is it part of the Japanese university's curriculum for you to attend classes in the Philippines?

Neither of the two.
I don't know how to explain, medyo malabo ata ang pagkakaexpress ko ng situation.Well, to make the story short, I have a Japanese visa but I stay in the Phils. because of my studies. So every after one trimester, I go back in Japan. Then after a month, I return to the Phils...

I'm even more confused. Are you a dependent? If you are you on a student visa, how were you able to get a Japanese school sponsorship and finally, the visa when you aren't even enrolled or studying in Japan at all?
