Hello Pips....
Newbie lng po ako dito sa timog, Nakita ko pong mga mgaganda nyong messages dito sa forum at akoy naglakas loob na makalubilo sa inyong kasiyahan. kung inyo pong ipapahintulot mayroon lng po akong tanong at favour na hihingin sa mga mabubuting member nang timog, kailangan ko nang modem driver nang naturang laptop model N.E.C Lavie LL, because what i have is a japanese country use only laptop model and japanese window xp home edition, but my noviceness about pc i did not save any file b4 i upgrade it to window xp proffesional English version, basically i lost my modem driver and sound card driver....i do really appreciate if anyone in japan can give me a big favour to send me that driver.

Assuming na wala sa iyo ang mga Support CD's (including Hardware Drivers) na kasama sa PC mo, subukan mong hanapin ang kailangan mong file sa Support page ng NEC.

Kailangan mo yung complete model number na nasa sticker ng iyong pc. Link for the NEC support is here> http://121ware.com (http://121ware.com/psp/PA121/NECS_SUPPORT_SITE/CRM/s/WEBLIB_NECS_DID.PROD UCT_ID.FieldFormula. IScript_VDown_Id_Sch )

You will be directed to a page like the one I attached, all you have to do is enter the correct 'kataban' or model/type number of your pc.

Mahirap na maghanap ng drivers for NEC machines at mabuti yan lamang 2 device na iyan ang nawala ang driver. Masuwerte ka pa rin. :)
You can get the drivers you need by following Crispee's instruction.
However kung walang Japanese character support yang makina mo ngayon or nahirapan ka sa mga nakasulat dun sa page. You can also post the model number here para matulungan ka sa pag download.

I have experience in installing Japanese drivers to Japanese laptop with English OS. And I hope I could help you with your inquiries. Well, just like what Yujin said, please post the driver info & laptop info (model no.).

May extra laptop ako binasura lang bayaw ko pinulot ko NEC Lavie S window 98 jap. version pinalitan ko ng OS win XP Pro. hindi support and driver for CDR okey lang gumagana naman reading only. nag karoon ng problem key board na asar ako binato ko sa kama ngayon ayos na .:)

May solusyon din dito. Go to Control Panel> Click Regional and Language Options > Click Advanced tab. Set your preference like the image attached here. Kung kailangan ng WinXP CD-Rom, isalang mo sa drive then follow instructions.

If my memory serves me right, I think you have to do this first.
Click on the Install files for East ......

Then do the step in the previous post.:)
