I was searching for previous threads about sending a package from the Philippines to Japan pero wala akong nakita. Ang karamihan ng threads ay sending a package from Japan to the Phil.

I already asked Samurai Cargo if they are offering such service pero hindi daw.

Maraming salamat.

Try LBC Express.http://www.lbcexpress.com/intPrice1.asp

hi halloween!

i already tried sending package from PI to japan through NITTSU. most of the company such as DHL, FedEx, etc.... they require supporting document for ur package suck as CD- its license that its original not a pirate one, Books- document that its not violating copy right, etc....

with NITTSU they will just ask u to write down the list of the item inside ur box & its cost for the insurance purposes. incase something is lost or destroy,etc.. they will pay u back for according to its declared cost. u can also ask them when is the exact date u want ur package to arrive in japan.

regarding fee.. it depends on the item inside ur box, its weight as well as means of delivery. they deliver through airplane & ship. in my case i sent 2 biggest balikbayan box(in which i bought at national bookstore), 4 big frames for display. i also asked them through airplane delivery & requested for my package to arrive same day of my arrival in japan thats why cost me 10万

I wouldn't trust Philpost whether sending a package from PH to JP or from JP to PH. I would rather pay the extra cost using Nittsu, Sagawa, or Kintetsu (KWE). At least ang risk of loss or theft ay mas mababa at assured yung shipping time.

My 0.2 yen worth.

I agree with Firipinjin regarding playing it safe with your shipment. Me, too I've lost a number of letters thru Philpost. But, ever since using EMS (more than 5 years) I never experienced lost or delayed package. Isa pa EMS is not your regular speed delivery service dahil mayroon itong kasamang insurance (in case of lost or damaged shipment) at may online tracking system din sila.

How do you send an EMS package from the Philippines to Japan? Saan pupunta? Dadaan ba sa Philpost ang EMS package? Is there a website?

I've been using EMS for years, pero Japan to Philippines. I like it, very reliable and the price is reasonable.

I agree maganda po talaga ang EMS...so far wala pa namang nabasag o nawala sa mga pinapadala ng nanay ko sakin dito....okey lang service nila, exactly 1 week andito na bagahe mo kaya medyo standard talaga ang babayaran per kilo or something that exceeding 1 kilo tataas na ang bayad..
@Dax
EMS in the nearest Philpost office, wala silang box, kaya ikaw mismo ang magbabalot ng bagahe mo with your own box..bawal pala ang may tubig ipadala at pwede rin padala pagkain basta maayos lang ang pagka pack.

@Makulit
Here are the details about the services offered by Sagawa:

The cost of sending a package from the PI to Japan will depend on the weight of the package. IN dollars po ang binigay na rate:

10 kilos $60 plus 12% vat
15 " $83 "
20 $97
30 $132

You may call this number 776-2627 or 822 9911 or e-mail them at customerservice@saga wa.com.ph.

Also, 2 to 3 days daw ang dating ng package.

i ussually send my extra baggages thru sagawa sea frieght.. pero kailangan pabalik ka na na dito.. at palalabasin mo yung mga extra baggage mo for personal effects... naka detalye naman lahat ng laman nun sa list ... mas mura na mas madami pang mailalaman sa boxes nila.. compare to airfrieght...

Ang medicines I suggest na BEST siya to send via airmail para hindi naman ma-spoil. Besides hindi naman kamahalan ang postage.
Regarding naman sa packages from RP to Japan my personal experience is sa DHL mukhang makakamura. Before I used to send my extra luggage via EMS (several years back) pero sumobra ang pagtaas ng rate kaya nanghinayang din ako. At DHL they have specified limit like 10 kilos 25 kilos etc. Ang 25 kilos would cost $80.00 (converted to peso). Yun lang nga marami rin restrictions pero at least you have a choice.

I use ems.. Kung check ninyo po ang shipping fee

http://www.philpost.gov.ph/download/IEMS-RATE%20June%2001,%20 2006%20edited%20eric k.pdf

1 kilo po ay about 1,059 pesos then 1.5 kilos ay 1,156 pesos tapos 2 kilos ay 1,360 pesos..additional of 216 pesos per 500 grams ( so 1 kilo is 432 pesos na lang.. kapag sumobra na ng 2 kilos ang ipapadala nninyo) Hanggang 30 kilos..

Also sa mga medicine po naman.. medyo mahigpit din sa customs.. alam ko depende sa gamot like

Prescription medicine : allowed tayo 1 month supply or less
No prescribed medicine : 2 month supply or less
Vitamins : 4 month supply
Ointments : 24 pieces

Hope this helps...:)
