maybe most of all people here in TF dont know that electric billing here in japan is like also the same to your cellphone or phone bill. the more you use, the more you pay. electric billing also has its own plan system you can choose like the one on our cellphone. so, kung mas cheaper and better ang plan na nakuha mo, mas makakatipid ka. this electric bill plan system is not also that known to some japanese people kaya di sila nag rerenew ng plan nila.

so how you can save some money by changing your electric bill plan? i give you some abstract example. if you are single and living alone on your home, working everyday, living your house at about 7 am then return home at about 8 or 9 pm, my advise to you is choose the NIGHT PLAN for your electric bill. you can save more than 40,000 yen per year for that. changing your electric bill to NIGHT PLAN charge you almost 70% of the actual charge. but, when you electric bill is in NIGHT PLAN system, never try to use electricity on your home on the day. it will charge more.

you can choose other ELECTRIC BILL plan system that fits your lifestyle right now. so better go to the nearest MERALCO(as what known to us) on your area to inquire about this. :)

The page you attached must be copied from below, and is called Shin-ya ryokin, and it is not what striver is talking about. It seems that in this plan daytime supply is not available, also it is only for specified appliances.

Below is the plan called Otoku-na-naito, and as striver said, it is “Mura sa gabi, mahal sa araw.” thus of course electricity is available 24 hours.

Otoku na Naito 8 Plan
Gabi 23:00-700 70% mas mura
Araw 7:00-23:00 20% mas mahal

Otokuna Naito 10 Plan
Gabi 22:00-800 60% mas mura
Araw 8:00-22:00 40% mas mahal

In home page of TEPCO I could not find matching part in English.
Maybe they are mendokusai in explaining this sa mga dayuhan.
If intentional, it is utterly unfair.:hellfire:
