May 11 Makati Mini-EB...

It was a rainy Thursday evening when i arrived at the activity center of glorietta. there was a sitti mini-concert (medyo cute sya and a good singer...though she just tends to over pronounce her words a bit). after a bit of waiting and texting, i got this message 'wre hre at the concierge'. it was ebmate-a. eto na ang mga ka-eb ko! :)

waiting at the concierge were my ebmates. after exchanging pleasantries and some photo ops, we took a short walk to greenbelt to have dinner.

di' marks...it's a pasta/pizza place on the 3rd level of greenbelt. good the place wasn't full as it was a little past 7 already. after settling in, it was order-taking time.

for appetizers, we had vegetable salads and chicken croquettes. salad was ok, tasted a bit bland though. the chicken croquettes were yummy; reminds you of how toasted fish balls look like:p

and then the food started coming in; 4 variations of pasta dishes. italian sausage fettuccini in red sauce, fettucini in carbonara sauce and two more which i forgot. :D

for the pizza, we had don alfredo's special and the house specialty, which unfortunately, i also forgot :D . dami food! there was a lot of leftovers pa (probably good enough to last the next eb :rolleyes: ).

during the meal, kwentuhan and another round of photo ops. they were planning on seeing a movie after dinner. MI3 daw but since i've seen it already, i had to beg off and told them 'kwento ko na lang sa inyo...it'll save you money pa, hehe'. 'wag wag wag mong ikwento no!' they chorused.

there were also a couple of exciting trips to the washroom. hhmmm, ano bang meron sa washroom ng di' marks? i was too lazy to stand up and check it out. DA WAT ANG MYSTERY NUMBER 1. :confused:

after eating, a round of beer and cocktails followed. and then it gets interesting :eek: my ebmates go, 'chris, recommend ka naman ng cocktails na masarap. not too strong but fruity'. so they had long island iced tea (hehe) and strawberry margarita. the long island iced tea had no effect whatsoever! malakas pala uminom! DA HU ANG MYSTERY NUMBER 2?

after dinner, we went to the lobby of the greenbelt cinema. a few more photo-ops before showtime at 10 and then we exchanged our goodbyes and thank yous.

it was a fun mini-eb; my first with TF. it would have been more fun had it stretched a couple more hours. it was short and sweet, but definitely fun.

thanks guys, i had a ball last night. till next time...:)

it wasn't even a mini-eb (very small get together lang...hehe, pareho din pala yun)

kayo ha! i didn't know about this mini-eb! no invitation thread posted! my office is just a stone's throw from gb3! had i known, i should have joined! i was at the office until 2am finishing some projects before my vl! but i did go out for dinner! & i was there, too!

ang daya ah! :rolleyes:

anyway, there's the main EB to look forward to! those who are coming...mata ne! am excited to see you guys! my first with TF! :yippee:

@doc, di naman po nang inggit...just went into the details :D. you're most welcome po, hope you like them; although i really doubt it kasi medyo way ahead of your time yung artists eh (e.g. victor wood, eddie peregrina, boy mondragon, arnold gamboa and may bonus na roderick paulate...unplugged po lahat) :D pwede mo po i-auction sa ebay...memorabilia :D
